오랜 시간 준비해온 국가무형문화재 제77호 유기장 명예보유자인 이봉주 장인 헌정 3대 방짜유기장 작품전 관련 소식을 전해드립니다. 이번 전시는 자랑스러운 한국 금속공예기술이자 소중한 우리 문화유산인 ‘방짜유기기법’의 명맥을 잇고, 방짜유기의 참 멋과 가치를 널리 알리신 대한민국 방짜유기장 이봉주 장인과 그의 아들 이형근 그리고 손자 이지호 장인까지3대에 걸쳐 가업을 이어오는 소중한 유산을 소개하고 있습니다.

또한 문화재청과 한국문화재재단 후원을 받아 한국의 집 <고호재>에서 개최하는 최초의 전시로 전통 문화유산인 방짜유기의 우수성을 소개하며, 방짜유기기법이 과거가 아니라 현재 그리고 미래 기술로 전승 보존되도록 기획했습니다.

A Tribute to Master Lee Bong-ju Three Generations of Bangjja Yugi

Kohojae, Korea House

This exhibition honors Lee Bong-ju, Honorary Holder of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of Korea (Bangjja Yugi Craftsmanship), and introduces three generations of artisans who continue the tradition of Bangjja Yugi.

Held at Kohojae, Korea House, with the support of the Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea and the Korea Heritage Service Foundation, the exhibition highlights the enduring value and craftsmanship of Bangjja Yugi.

Featuring Lee Bong-ju, Lee Hyung-geun, and Lee Jiho,

the exhibition traces three generations of Bangjja Yugi craftsmanship.
