공예, 아름다운 사물들

롯데갤러리, 롯데백화점 본점 에비뉴엘관 

라이프스타일이라는 말이 하나의 취향과 가치로 이야기되는 시대, 《공예, 아름다운 사물들》은 공예를 통해 우리의 삶을 풍요롭게 만드는 사물들에 주목했습니다.

롯데갤러리에서 열린 이번 전시에는 7명의 작가가 참여하여 각기 다른 재료와 기법으로 완성된 작품들을 선보였습니다. 기능적인 물건을 넘어 시간과 손의 흔적, 그리고 사용하는 사람의 취향까지 담아내는 공예의 가치를 살펴볼 수 있었습니다.

납청유기 이수자 이지호는 전통 방짜유기 제작기술을 바탕으로 일상 속에서 오래 사용될 수 있는 기물을 선보이며, 쓰임과 아름다움이 공존하는 공예의 가능성을 보여주었습니다.

Craft, Beautiful Objects

At a time when lifestyle is often shaped by personal values and taste, Beautiful Objects looked at the role of craft in enriching everyday life.

Featuring works by seven artists, the exhibition brought together a range of materials and techniques, highlighting objects that carry not only function, but also the traces of time, making, and individual experience.

Lee Jiho, Apprentice Artisan of Bangjja Yugi, presented vessels designed for everyday use. Rooted in traditional craftsmanship, the works reflected the enduring balance between utility and beauty that defines craft.
