빛과 금속이 만들어내는 다양한 표면의 가능성을 탐구한 《Texture of Lights》에는 네 명의 한국 금속 작가가 참여했습니다.

망치질과 연마, 옻칠과 상감 등 서로 다른 제작 방식을 통해 금속 위에 스며든 빛의 질감과 시간을 선보였으며, 각기 다른 재료와 기법이 만들어내는 표현의 확장성을 함께 보여주었습니다.

납청유기는 방짜유기 표면에 드러나는 빛의 흐름과 두드림의 흔적을 통해 금속이 지닌 깊이와 감각적 아름다움을 선보였습니다.

Texture of Lights brought together four Korean metal artists exploring the many ways light interacts with metal surfaces.

Through techniques such as hammering, polishing, lacquer work, and inlay, the exhibition revealed the textures, reflections, and traces of time embedded in metal. Each artist offered a different perspective on the expressive possibilities of material and making.

Napcheong presented works that highlighted the flow of light across Bangjja Yugi surfaces, where subtle hammer marks reveal the depth, texture, and character of the metal.
