The Beauty of Korean Hospitality

광복 80주년을 맞아 미국 워싱턴 D.C. 주미대한제국공사관에서 열린 《한국적 환대의 아름다움》에 참여했습니다.

국가무형유산 장인 23인의 작품이 함께한 이번 전시에서 납청유기는 손님을 위한 상차림과 생활 기물을 선보였습니다. 방짜유기에 담긴 한국적 환대의 가치와 오랜 시간 이어져 온 공예 정신을 통해 사람을 맞이하는 태도와 공간의 분위기를 전했습니다.

Napcheong participated in The Beauty of Korean Hospitality, held at the Legation of the Korean Empire in Washington, D.C. to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.

Alongside works by 23 masters of Korea’s Intangible Cultural Heritage, Napcheong presented Bangjja Yugi tableware and household vessels that reflect the spirit of Korean hospitality.

Through objects shaped by generations of craftsmanship, the exhibition explored the values of welcoming, sharing, and gathering that have long been part of Korean culture.
