방짜유기 스페셜 오더 트렁크 with 납청유기

럭셔리 패션하우스 루이 비통(Louis Vuitton)이 한국의 전통 문화를 담아 특별 제작한 납청유기의 방짜유기 스페셜 오더 트렁크를 공개하였습니다.

트렁크 내부에는 국가무형유산 명예보유자 이봉주선생님의 신옥식기 밥그릇과 국그릇, 쟁첩, 사각 접시, 찜기, 고려 꽃접시, 오얏 꽃접시, 수저와 수저받침, 국자, 주걱, 찻잔 세트를 비롯한 다양한 사이즈의 방짜유기 반상기와 이를 더욱 빛내줄 모노그램 플라워 패턴 장식 목재 트레이가 포함돼 있습니다. 트렁크 외부는 루이 비통의 상징적인 모노그램 캔버스를 바탕으로 금빛 브라스(황동) 도금 잠금 장식 및 금속 디테일이 가미되어 한국의 전통 방짜유기와 조화롭게 어우러지고 있습니다. 또한 방짜유기 트렁크 내부 라이닝의 녹색과 주황색 컬러 조합 역시 궁궐 혹은 사찰에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 단청에서 디자인 영감을 받았다고 합니다. 

루이 비통 방짜유기 스페셜 오더 트렁크는 1859년 설립 이래 하우스의 다양한 스페셜 오더 트렁크를 제작해온 파리 근교의 유서 깊은 아니에르 공방에서 완성되었습니다. 프랑스 전통 트렁크 제조 기술과 한국의 전통 방짜유기의 이색적인 하모니를 보여주는 루이 비통 방짜유기 스페셜 오더 트렁크는 한정된 기간에 걸쳐서만 선보이는 리미티드 에디션으로, 2020년 9월 한시적으로 루이 비통 매장에서 주문 제작이 가능합니다.

Bangjja Yugi Special Order Trunk with Napcheong Yugi

Louis Vuitton unveiled a special-order trunk created in collaboration with Napcheong Yugi, celebrating the craftsmanship and heritage of traditional Korean Bangjja Yugi.

The trunk features a curated selection of handcrafted Bangjja Yugi tableware by Master Lee Bong-ju, Honorary Holder of Korea’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage, including bowls, plates, serving vessels, spoons, ladles, and tea cups. 

A custom wooden tray adorned with Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Flower motif accompanies the collection. Combining Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas with brass hardware, the trunk brings together French trunk-making traditions and Korean metal craftsmanship. The interior color palette, inspired by Dancheong—the decorative colors found in traditional Korean palaces and temples—further reflects Korean cultural heritage.

Crafted at Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, where the House has produced special-order trunks since 1859, the project represents a unique dialogue between French savoir-faire and the tradition of Bangjja Yugi.

The limited-edition trunk was available by special order through Louis Vuitton boutiques beginning in September 2020.
