"다시, 땅의 기초로부터"

오르고, 받치고, 드높인다는 의미를 산을 오르고 험하고 다양한 과정(노고)의 형태로 풀어 냈고 유기로 완성된 그 제단 위에 올려진 오브제는 각각 과실, 향, 꽃, 불, 눈물을 상징합니다.

우리 공예는 실생활에서 사용하는 것에 집중해 작업하는데, 우리가 사용하지 않는 디자인을 접할 수 있었던 새로운 공예 작업입니다.

Presented during the 2022 Milano Design Week, 

Again From The Earth's 

Foundation explored contemporary interpretations of Korean craft through collaborations between traditional artisans and international designers.

The work reimagined the ideas of ascending, supporting, and elevating through forms inspired by the laborious process of climbing a mountain. Upon a pedestal crafted in Bangjja Yugi, a series of symbolic objects represented fruit, fragrance, flowers, fire, and tears.

Moving beyond everyday functionality, the project offered a new perspective on Korean craft, exploring forms and expressions rarely encountered in daily life.
