삼국 시대부터 우리의 그릇으로 사랑받고 있는 유기는 고유의 은은한 금빛을 지녔습니다.

화려하게 반짝이는 금이나 동과는 다르게 은빛을 머금은 듯 부드럽고 은은하게 흐르는 유기만의 색은 때로는 오브제로, 때로는 식기로 많은 사랑을 받고 있습니다.

1957년, 국가무형문화재 제77호 이봉주 유기장으로부터 시작된 ”납청유기(NAPCHEONG YUGI)“ 를 3대째 이어가고 있는 이지호 작가는 전통을 지키는 동시에 현대에 맞게 재해석한 

유기 작품으로 새로운 문화적 경험을 전하고 있습니다.

10월, 도쿄에서 선보인 Soft Golden Glow 전시에 이어 12월, 

서울에서는 겨울의 티타임(Winter Teatime)이라는 부제로

티테이블로 활용할 수 있는 “풍경놋상”

찻잎을 보관할 수 있는 “유기합”

쓰임새의 이야기를 담은 다채로운 “유기 숟가락” 등

일상 생활에서 사용할 수 있는 오브제, 식기,차도구로서의 유기를 선보입니다.

구리 78%, 주석 22%의 특별한 비율과 수천 번의 망치질과 인내의 시간으로 탄생하는 유기의 

매력을 만나보세요.

Soft Golden Glow: Winter Teatime

Solo Exhibition by Lee Jiho

Known for its soft golden glow, Bangjja Yugi has been cherished in Korea for centuries.

As the third generation of Napcheong Yugi, Lee Jiho explores contemporary interpretations of traditional Bangjja craftsmanship.

Following Soft Golden Glow in Tokyo, this exhibition presented Bangjja Yugi objects for tea culture and everyday life, including Landscape Table, Yugi tea canisters, and handcrafted spoons.

Through objects designed for tea, dining, and everyday rituals, the exhibition explored how traditional craftsmanship can be experienced within contemporary life.

Created through a unique alloy of 78% copper and 22% tin, and shaped through thousands of strikes of the hammer, each piece reflects the material qualities and craftsmanship of Bangjja Yugi.
