이화 창립 138주년 기념 특별전

이화여자대학교 박물관

이화여자대학교 창립 138주년을 기념한 특별전 《유기鍮器 생활》은 유기의 전통과 현대적 변용을 함께 조명한 전시입니다.

조상들이 사용해온 생활 유기와 현대 장인들의 작업, 그리고 구리를 소재로 작업한 현대 미술 작품이 함께 소개되었으며, 유기 싱잉볼과 생성형 AI, 메타버스 등 디지털 기술을 접목한 프로그램을 통해 유기 문화의 새로운 가능성을 선보였습니다.

납청유기는 국가무형유산 유기장 명예보유자 이봉주의 반상기와 유기장 이형근의 대야, 그리고 방짜유기 제작에 사용되는 도구를 선보이며 전통 제작기술의 흐름을 함께 전했습니다.

Special Exhibition Celebrating the 138th Anniversary of Ewha Womans University

Presented in celebration of the 138th anniversary of Ewha Womans University, Yugi Life explored both the tradition of Yugi and its contemporary interpretations.

Historical household vessels, works by contemporary artisans, and copper-based artworks were exhibited together, offering different perspectives on the cultural and material legacy of Yugi. The exhibition also introduced new possibilities for Yugi through programs that combined singing bowls with generative AI and metaverse technologies.

Napcheong contributed tableware by Honorary Holder Lee Bong-ju, a basin by Holder Lee Hyung-geun, and traditional tools used in the making of Bangjja Yugi, tracing the continuity of the craft across generations.
